MEAP testing begins this week as everyone knows. We will have a modified schedule and will be giving this information to the students over the morning show. Please pay close attention to the details and directions if the adults are confused surely the students will be. Link to Diane's blog for additional information.

We have our first home football game this week. We will play home games at Loy Norrix this year. We could still use staff to help with the game. Let Brad or April know if your able.

I'll have card stock available at staff meeting on Monday afternoon for temporary ID's. I understand some of you have gone through the cards.

On Friday we'll have a potluck salad bar prior to dessert and a shower for Andrea and Melanie. Bring a salad bar item and we'll have the lettuce and bread, supplied.

We are trying to get a newsletter out to parents every marking period. We will use the newsletter as one forum for recognizing students who have made strong academic achievement. I addition I would like to include some news from each team. A short paragraph providing parents with information on projects, field trips, points of pride, etc. The following time-line gives you an idea of when I'd like this information. If there is a specific person on your team who would do this please let me know.

A reminder that any team activities you are planning with the use of the GEAR UP funds must be expended by November 1.

We will call students out of class in alphabetical clusters for school pictures on Thursday.
