Our staff meeting on Monday will start out with some general overview information related to student-led conferencing and we will be breaking into departments and will continue our work toward building academic vocabularies.

8th grade teachers please inform those students who have been retained that Mr. Kendall will be here on Tuesday afternoon to address their concerns about promotion to high school. We will meet in the office conference room at 1:30 or just after the start of 7th period. If you are not sure who this is just let me know.

We are planning team meetings this week to review expectations and continue the conversation about getting students goal focused. These will likely occur on Tuesday and Wednesday, Maggie and I are coordinating times for this and a specific location. More information to come.

The Board of Education meeting for this Thursday night is to make a decision on the recommended plan to change middle school and high school boundaries. We should know where things stand by Thursday night.

I know it is getting old with Mr. Drummer pulling the band students out of class again to put on elementary school concerts but I will appreciate everyone's understanding. We are in a public relations effort trying to convey positive perspectives about the school as many new parents are wondering about the outcome of the boundary decision.

KVCC nursing students will begin working in the building again on Thursdays beginning this week.
