I will be meeting with the NDK providers, Monday, to determine our continued participation in the NDK process as a school.

Apparently our Gazette article is pushed back to be included in the Gazette's special on promise week activities in December, we'll see.

I will overview the walk-through training that district administrators will be trained in at staff meeting on Monday afternoon. We'll have 20 or so administrators visiting classroom on Tuesday morning.

A reminder that we are closing in our United Way campaign. All pledges must be turned in by Monday, November 20. We will draw for a "dinner out" certificate for those who turn their pledges in on time at KEA on the 20th.

Tuesday, we will have a team of staff attending the KAMSC application workshop. We want our school to be able to provide help to students who are capable, so they have a chance to get in.

The staff team from KRESA that reviewed our implementation of PBS last week found a high degree of understanding among staff and students regarding our PBS implementation. It also appeared that teacher did a nice job of communicating the changes in the Student Center last week. Operations in that area were improved.

We will be without the services of an assistant principal on Tuesday and Wednesday this week. Vickie and Carol had previous arrangements.

We are in the process of planning for the remodel of the library. This will involve the demolition of our current book room. I want all teachers to be aware that we'll have to relocate book room materials at some point or make decisions to toss dated curriculum material. Jan will post some drawing of the media center reconfiguration.
