A reminder we'll be in room 415 with our expecting mothers on Monday after school. Please stop in and celebrate with us.
We have a brief school improvement meeting scheduled for Monday after the shower. I'll provide a report on the feedback I received from Friday's staff development and the tentative plans for next years school improvement document.
We are scheduled to see the dress rehearsal of the school play on April 18 at 8:30. I wanted everyone to have some advance notice of this event. We'll have a modified schedule this week as we adjust lunch hours to accommodate a school performance on Friday, April 20.
ELPA testing is scheduled for April 11, in the school library. The bilingual department will be here that day to test all of our bilingual students. We will publish a list of students and the times they must report to the library for their testing when we come back from spring break.
I'll provide more direction for Thursday's student/staff basketball game during announcements on Tuesday morning.
We will send out notification letters to 8th graders who failed the last marking period informing them of the district's position on summer school and retention for the coming year. they are encouraged to contact their child's teacher and discuss any issues of concern or support.
The building will be open during spring break, however you should check with Barbara to see that a door is left unlocked if you want to come in. You may check out an exterior key from Ruth also.
The next paydate during Spring Break will be Thursday, April 5. Checks will be available in the Ad. Bldg. lobby from 8-12.
