Reminder the community task Force is meeting with students from advisories Monday Morning at 8:00, in the reclaiming center.

Monday's staff meeting is to review and brainstorm ideas for PBS that we will use through the duration of the school year. I teachers are able to give a few minutes it would be helpful, we wouldn't need you for the entire hour.

Monday is the first track meet of the season. It is at Loy Norrix and we are the host school. We could as many volunteers as possible to help with the event. Let Vestina, Atiba or Jeremiah know if you are able to help out.

The assembly scheduled for Thursday is titled, "From the Cradle to the Department of Corrections." A mother provides a first hand reality talk. This was recommended to me from another principal. It will only be for our 7th and 8th graders.

We will do a lock down drill this Wednesday during third period. I will explain the procedure to everyone during Tuesday's announcements.

A reminder to keep up the attendance effort. We will have a return audit on May 3. Char will be asking for everyone's book and we must clear this audit for full funding.

The magnet grant is due into the federal government this week. I'll post a copy on the shared drive once it is complete. Don't get too worried if you see something you aren't sure of, if it is successful, we can still tweak it.
