There is no staff meeting scheduled for Monday. This is what I have so far for Friday's PD plan from Sharon Dodson. " Hi all. Information about the upcoming November 2 PD day:

November 2 is a secondary district PD day and middle school and high school teachers will be meeting by content area. They will spend most of the day working on standards and alignment of curriculum, instruction, and assessments with their curriculum coordinator. All teachers will all attend Grant Chandler's 75-minute presentation on "Integrating a Thinking-Based Curriculum with Standards-Based Grading" some time during the day (except for Freshmen Academy teachers who will be meeting together all day to continue their work). The outline for the sessions is attached so you can see how it is laid out. All content area PD agendas will be complete next Tuesday and I will send you a final copy. Paraprofessionals are not working that day.

I will review the procedures for a lockdown drill with everyone during the morning show on Thursday.

Again, anyone who can help with the football game on Wednesday, please let Brad know.

As soon as we get clarification on the recovery program we'll share this information with 8th graders. As some of them have started the first leg the retention process this past marking period.

Meagan has some rehersal conflicts with some choir students on Nov. 8, 14 and 15 as she prepares for a evening concert on Nov. 15. She will give you the names of students in advance who need to attend and the rehersal time.
