Our staff meeting after school on Monday will be in room 415. This is a one hour meeting.
We have a dental clinic operating in the school this week on Tuesday-Thursday. Mary will circulate more specific information about how students who have completed necessary parent forms will access the service.
Meagan's choir classes will hold our first performing arts presentation of the year, Thursday night at 7:00. She has a rehearsal Thursday morning and has provided everyone with the names of student who need to attend.
Thursday nights Promise celebration will recognize Dr. Brown for her efforts to develop the Kalamazoo Promise. Many of our students have participated in a journal through their ELA teachers outlining what the promise means to them and Ruth has coordinated their entries into the journal. It will presented to her Thursday evening. We are to have a public relations table set up at Norrix prior to the ceremony as part of community sharing about schools. If you have suggestions for items to be included in our display please let me know.
Reminder that we'll be meeting with 7th grade advisory representatives on Tuesday morning. Our topic of conversation is the Holiday Food drive. Ms. Horton is serving as the building coordinator for this effort and she wants to carry it out through our advisory program. We begin the Monday after Thanksgiving Break.
