MEAP testing continues this week on Tuesday and Thursday. Tamela will put out directions on make-up testing. We have over 100 students to do make-ups with so please pay attention to directions. Remind students to go straight to MEAP testing on Tuesday and Thursday.
Attendance reminder: mark classes that you don't meet all present on MEAP testing day. We'll mark absences from the office.
Only 6th graders will receive new schedules on Monday. Because these are the only students changing classes.
We will host volleyball tournament games on Monday and Tuesday this week.
New student planners will be distributed this week in advisory as we start a new marking period. Please make sure you incorporate the planner calendar into: lesson objectives, homework or assignments. It serves no purpose if teachers don't use it.
Jeff from facilities asked me to remind everyone that the new heat systems have an air intake vent on the side. If this vent is covered or if you place a cabinet in front of it, you will experience poor heat distribution.
We are looking for basketball players for a November 13 basketball game with the Parkwood Staff. Their PTO is hosting a fundraiser at Milwood and as part of the event there will be a basketball game between the Parkwood staff and a combined team from Maple and Milwood. e-mail me if you can play for a few minutes that night.
