Tuesday, 1st day, all teachers are outside to the appropriate grade level door to collect their advisory class and bring them into the building no later than 7:30. Entry will begin as soon as you are ready - there is no hurry. Talk with them before you come into the building and be clear about your expectations for hall behavior.
Attendance will be taken on the 1st day using the advisory list from Char. Simply put an "A" next to the name of any student not in attendance. Write the names of any new or additional students on this list. Cheri will come to your class to pick up the list at approximately 9:00.
Cheri will be visiting all teachers classrooms the first week to make sure we are accurately recording attendance and following school procedures.
If your computer is not up and running by noon on Monday please let me know, or check your name on my office door. I'll keep a list on my office door of where we are with this situation.
If you are interested in pre-interns from WMU for your classroom please let Dawn Kahler know. She has to respond to WMU in the next week.
I have spoken with food service and we must offer a breakfast on the 1st day of school. So Brenetta will come around with a cart to advisory classes to offer a simple breakfast item (no choice) to students.
A reminder about e-mail etiquette. Do not use the district global e-mail system for any personal items. If it is work related run it by me first. A reminder per Pat Chalmers.
