A reminder to all staff that our Holiday Dessert is this Monday from1-3:30 in the reclaiming room. Please stop in before you leave. pick up your holiday gift, and share some dessert with your colleagues.

Ms. Horton will have pizzas ready for the top four advisory classes that lead our food drive. Ms. Washington's, Mr. Pick's, Ms. Hawkin's and Mr. Koch's advisory classes will be called to the cafeteria Monday at approximately 2:00 to share in the recognition/celebration.

Diane will lead a planning conversation on how we will observe and convey information to our students regarding the significance of Dr. King's work in January. We will blend this into our advisory classes after the holiday break. Staff ideas and input will be very helpful.

Points up recognition will take place this week building wide. A name recognition will be run during the morning show on Wednesday. Diane will distribute bracelets to math teachers to hand out in class to students deserving recognition. On Friday we will be running a name recognition during lunch and will allow only points up students a free slushie.

7th grade teams please have a supervision plan communicated to students ahead of time regarding the 7th grade party on Friday. All students should report to class, attendance should be taken and students who meet the criteria should be dismissed to the party. Please do not let students who are not tier 1, have overdue library book or are not in possession of a school ID to attend.

Barbara Horton will be working in the building over the holiday break on December 27 and 28 and January 3 and 4, if you want to come in. She will have the building locked but will have a cell phone with her if you want to be let in. Please call her at 217-0676 if you want to get in or check out a key from Ruth.

The network card has been installed on our new copier in the work room. I have set up a 2:30 inservice on the new copier's network capablility. Mark will lead this session and will need to install a link on your teacher workstation.
