All across the state schools will be conducting lockdown Drills on Wednesday, February 25. I will review the purpose and the procedure with students on Wednesday morning announcements. We will then conduct our lockdown drill at 10:00. If you are unsure of anything please don't hesitate to ask questions.

We have federal evaluators in the building on Tuesday. Please take a minute to look at anything posted in your hallway. If there is torn or written on work please take a few minutes and clean or repost, it speaks to our building pride.

Information on the merit award was handed out last week. We need to see recommendations turned into Deb Blondin by Wednesday, February 25. This is a an opportunity to recognize students who are making positive strides in school.

Sibling conference schedules should have been completed. Mary will distribute them to everyone, we are now working on scheuling conferences with the remaining advisory students. This week you should use your advisory time to complete scheduling and to begin working on invitations to conferences. We will hold a brief informational broadcast at the beginning of advisory to communicate expectations and directions for the invitation.

We will host an information session on Milwood Magnet for parents of new middle school students this Wednesday night. If there are staff members who are able to help with this please let me know so we can factor this into our planning.

Department heads will meet in the conference room at 2:30 on Monday.
