We will be a host school for 8th grade girls basketball tournament games Monday through Thursday this week. So we will have a number of visitors coming in from other schools throughout the week.

We do not have a staff meeting this week as we have Literacy Night coming on Thursday, March 12. This event serves as a spring open house date and is a mandatory evening for all staff. Planning has been going on over the last few weeks and we will continue to update everyone regarding plans.

We will meet with leadership team this week. We will finalize all of the plans for student-led conferencing at this time. Maggie will also outline some PBS procedures aimed at curbing class tardiness that we want to institute the final 12 weeks of school.

Schedules should be completed for the student-led conference process. Most staff did a great job of getting these to Mary in a timely way. If you have not gotten her your schedule please communicate with her on Monday.

We have to continue working our letters of intent. All decisions regarding staffing and budgets will be based off of enrollment projections which are going to come from these letters. If students turn them into you please see that they are placed in the envelop on Deb's counter the day they come in.

We will work on recruiting 8th graders for the upward bound program, WMU will consider up to 20 students from our school. Ellen will be meeting with those who are interested on Friday at 1:30. the student must meet one of the following criteria: would be a first generation college graduate in their family, qualify for free or reduced lunch, struggle academically.
