We have scheduled team meetings this week to review some end of year information, and to reinforce upcoming tier 1 activities. These are planned to go right into lunch periods. If your team has anything in particular you'd like to see on the agenda please let either Maggie or myself know.

Mary is working with parents planning a tier one event for Friday, March 15, a video game night there are a number of ways staff can help out. Please let Mary know if you're available to help out with any aspect this night or if you have a game system that you're willing to let us borrow for the night.

The staffing process for next year will begin this week. Carlotta and Dawn have agreed to join Maggie and myself on the building staffing committee. We will be reviewing candidates for posted positions in keeping with the magnet staffing process. This process will continue through the remainder of the school year as the district staffing process moves along and transfers begin to occur.

A reminder to please pass out a 6 week progress report to students in your 7th period class on Thursdays. We did discuss the cancellation of advisory in our leadership meeting this past week. An there is a group of the team that will try to pull together targeted advisory lessons for the last 4 Thursdays in May. We are still in the process of reviewing and considering an Advisory plan for 2009-2010.
