The National Magnet School Conference is this week in Charlotte, North Carolina. I will be attending this conference with our magnet team - Diane, Melanie, Atiba, and Tamela. We return to school on Thursday. Vickie will be subbing for me during the week.

Maggie will provide team data during Monday's staff meeting and these will be time for team conversations relative to the data and end of year plans.

We have a push on to get overdue library books turned in. Please remind students that this must happen by end of school on Wednesday if students want to attend the basketball game on Friday.

Thursday is the last day of April and any outstanding receipts from teacher budgets should have been turned in by then.

We follow an AM schedule on the Friday half-day. We have 1st, 2nd period with the game during 3rd hour. We will dismiss at the end of second hour and teams should make arrangements to have a designated room for students who are not tier 1 or have overdue library books.

There is summer school this year for 6th grade students and 8th grade students. 6th grade is voluntary with teacher recommendations and 8th grade is mandatory for students who have failed a semester in two or more core classes.
