Our monthly school improvement team will meet the 4th Monday of the month, the first meeting being this Monday from 2:30 - 3:30. We will then meet with the parent advisory group at 5:30. There will be a light dinner of pizza and salad at the beginning of the parent meeting.

Jan will have the library open this week. We will first introduce students to the library through English classes. Once the students on your team have had a usage lesson in the library, teachers may schedule time with classes in the library. Scheduling for a time in the library will be done through groupwise.

Remind students that Wednesday during advisory time is dedicated time on the stage for ID replacement. ID replacement is $3.00.

We'll open the school store gradually this week. 6th graders will be able to use it on Monday and we hope to open it up to 7th and 8th grade by Wednesday. There will be designated days based on the table students sit at. More information to be provided to students during announcements.

ELA teachers will do initial fluency testing this week with all of their students. We will compile results of this work for a building profile to be shared with everyone.

Cheri will share the school tardiness plan with students on Monday morning during announcements.

I will meet with 7th grade advisory representatives on Tuesday morning at 7:35. If you have a 7th grade advisory please identify a representative from your class to be present during this meeting.
